1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of My Wedding Shortlist and any related websites, applications, communications, content, and services we provide (the platform).

By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

In these Terms, "My Wedding Shortlist", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the business operating under the name My Wedding Shortlist (ABN 94 140 606 273).

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform, submit an enquiry, apply as a vendor, or otherwise engage with My Wedding Shortlist.

If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. What My Wedding Shortlist does

My Wedding Shortlist is a platform that facilitates introductions between couples and wedding vendors.

We use a combination of user-provided information, platform data, automated systems, and algorithmic matching (including AI-assisted processes) to generate shortlists, recommendations, and introductions.

These outputs are generated based on available data and system logic and do not involve comprehensive human review or verification in every case.

Any shortlist, recommendation, or introduction reflects system-generated outputs and does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any vendor’s quality, performance, availability, pricing, responsiveness, or suitability.

Outputs generated by the platform may be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on assumptions inferred from available information.

We are not a party to any contract, booking, or arrangement entered into between a couple and a vendor.

4. Information on the platform

Vendor profiles, pricing information, availability, and service details may change over time and may not always be current.

We do not independently verify all information provided by vendors.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that any information on the platform is complete, accurate, or up to date.

You are responsible for independently verifying any information that is important to your decision-making before entering into a booking or agreement.

5. Terms for couples

My Wedding Shortlist currently offers a complimentary service for couples.

Any shortlist, recommendation, or introduction is informational in nature and generated based on available data and system logic.

We do not guarantee that a vendor will be available, interested, suitable, or willing to accept a booking.

You remain solely responsible for evaluating vendors, making enquiries, negotiating terms, and deciding whether to proceed with any booking.

You acknowledge that any decision to engage a vendor is made at your own risk.

6. Terms for vendors

Vendor applications, listings, and ongoing participation are subject to review and approval at our discretion.

We may review, approve, pause, remove, limit, edit, or stop displaying any vendor profile, application, content, or listing at our discretion, including where we consider it necessary for quality, trust, safety, legal, or operational reasons.

We remain in control of how information is displayed on the platform, including profile presentation, categorisation, visibility, and whether a vendor is included in any shortlist or introduction.

Founding vendors may participate without charge. If we introduce paid features in future, including credits or pay-per-introduction models, additional terms relating to pricing, billing, usage, expiry, and refunds may apply and will be published at that time.

You represent and warrant that any information or content you provide is accurate and that you have the necessary rights to submit it, and that its use by us will not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe a user has breached these Terms or is using the platform inappropriately.

• use the platform unlawfully
• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• scrape, copy, or extract content in bulk
• submit false, misleading, or deceptive information
• use the platform in a way that could harm My Wedding Shortlist or other users

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the platform, branding, design, copy, and content created by My Wedding Shortlist are owned by or licensed to us.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

By submitting content or information to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and publish that material for the operation, review, promotion, and improvement of the platform.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, successful introductions, bookings, conversions, revenue outcomes, or any particular result for couples or vendors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, and for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, or data arising out of or in connection with the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Where permitted, our liability for breach of any non-excludable guarantee is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or the cost of having the services supplied again.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Wedding Shortlist from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with:

• (a) your use of the platform
• (b) any information or content you submit
• (c) any interaction or agreement between you and another user
• (d) your breach of these Terms

11. Suspension, removal, and termination

We may suspend, remove, restrict, or terminate access to the platform, any listing, or any functionality at any time if we consider it necessary for operational, legal, commercial, trust, safety, or quality reasons.

Where reasonable, we may provide notice, but we are not required to do so.

You may stop using the platform at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version published on this page will apply from its stated effective date.

Your continued use of the platform after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
